Usually when a music artist dies it has no effect on me at all, as I do not actually know them. However the passing of David Bowie saddens me. I guess he was part of my early teens. In 1972 I spent many hours repeatably listening to the Ziggy Stardust LP. In later years he disappointed me, I guess I felt let down when he started to wear, slightly undone, leather piano key ties (I took it rather personally)...
